     I wasn't there either as we had a houseful of friends here for a potluck   
   feast session.  The chilli was great and the chocolate éclair mouse log was

     I love the auction idea at your party Dora and will use it when I get the   
   opportunity here.  What a wonderful way to help a charity and with food as the   
   incentive most will open their pockets :)

       Wasn't around for chat last night.  First in a series of Christmas parties   
   we have ...   
       It was the most awesome buffet I have ever seen.  The company Rick works   
   for   
       is not cheap that is for sure.  Parking in downtown Vancouver was free,   
   free taxi vouchers.   
       Vancouver was very busy last night with pre Grey Cup partiers all over   
   downtown.   
       A suite set up with all kinds of booze for before and after.   
       Proffesional photographers taking lots of pictures   
       Lots of door prizes.     
       The variety of food was awesome.   
       Their was an auction to see whose table would dine first.  330 dollars   
       went to the empty stocking xmas fund.   
       Same guy bid high last year at 300. dollars.   
      
       It was our first year at this party and looking forward to going   
       next year.  Had a blast.
