   I was a military (Air Force) brat from 1942 through 1965.   
      
   Over the years since I got married, I have made it a point to visit places   
   we ysed to live during my father's Air Force career.  Up until recently, I   
   had located our homes in Clinton (1949-52), Trenton (1952-54), Winnipeg   
   (1954-55), Ottawa (1959-63) and Prince George (RCAF Station Baldy hughes!!   
   1963)   
      
   Last year, I finally got back to Fontainebleau, France, where my Dad was   
   stationed from 1955-59.  It was incredible... even after all that time, I   
   was able to find my way easily around town, and out to some of the nearby   
   villages where servicemen with families were billeted in rented houses.  I   
   located all three of the houses we lived in (one in Bois-le-Roi and two in   
   Fontainebleau), as well as the International School.  I felt like I had come   
   back home!   
      
   Now, all that's left to find is our homes in Guelph, Winnipeg (the 1st   
   time), Vancouver, Canyon Creek AB (Vanished off the face of the earth long   
   ago!), and Saskatoon.  But I was an infant for the first few and the only   
   ones I remember at all were Canyon Creek, which no longer exisits, as far as   
   I know, and Saskatoon.  I don't know if I'll ever get to those though; my   
   wife refuses to travel in the Prairies!   
      
   I hope the rest of you who have fond memories of some of the bases and   
   postings are doing the same thing.
