   I was just a little guy then, so I don't remember much about it. I know my   
   father got out of the Air Force after the war and we lived in Vancouver at   
   that time, but I don't know how long he was out before he re-upped. So, if   
   he was military at all during that brief period, I do not know where he was   
   based. I have to assume he got out in 1945 and re-upped in '46, so probably   
   all of our short time was his brief fling with civilian life.
