   Hi everyone - belated happy birthdays to the gang who have been celebrating!   
      
   My Dad's 80th is coming up later this month, and I plan to take him aside   
   at some point during the family get-together and tell him just exactly   
   what I think of him (!)   
      
   Part of this will be to tell him how thankful I am that he chose to be a   
   member of the RCAF, and all of the things that his choice has done for me.   
      
   A while back, there was a "poem" - it may have been prose - that stated   
   many of the things that made life better as a result of being a brat.   
   Of course, the copy that I saved at the time can not be found, now that I   
   have a good use for it...   
      
   Any help? I vaguely remember that it may have been American in origin, but   
   it said things very well.
