   My all time favourites:

    1) Sentimental Journey (1945 - all time favourite song too)
    2) Das Boot (went with the Kipper, who thought no one else would be
there! A full house. He spent a good portion of the movie
gripping the elbow rests - white knuckled. Later he had a couple of
nightmares reliving [two] events that happened with HMS/m
Acheron - almost exactly the same were depicted in the movie.)
    3) Angela's Ashes (read the book - movie is nearly dead on)
    4) Imitation of Life (1958)
    5) Scarecrow (Al Pacino & Gene Hackman)
    6) Dog Day Afternoon (Al Pacino)
    7) Wee Geordie
    8) Alfie (1966 or '67)
    9) Hunt for Red October (brought back lots of memories of the type of work
we did at CFMWS-Stad 66-67 - also read the book)
   10) Cruising (Al Pacino had me nearly believing he was gay & into leather!)

Have other favs ... big Pacino fan here .. but really hardly ever watch
movies these days, whether at the theatre, DVDs / whatever .. too busy
watching the History Channel, or Discovery, or The Spirit Network, or
National Geographic .. etc, etc, ...

   wrcn
... every good girl loves a sailor ...
