I have been off ill for a week, so missed this.       My thoughts and prayers to you and all the family.       Even if expected, it is quite a shcok - we only have one Dad, so there is       no prior experience to call upon to know how to react.       The best advice I ever had was "the way you are dealing with this is       probably the best way for you."       When the somewhat selfish "I miss him SO much!" thoughts tend to       overwhelm, try to shift them to the good memories. I rember when my Dad       bought me my first beer at the Miscouche legion in PEI, and the two of us       played shuffleboard and ended up missing my sister's choral concert that       was taking place on the floor above us...       Also, don't be shy about continuing to talk to him - he is probably       listening...       Cheers,       Dennis Lloyd.       Ottawa.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
