Not so in my/our case. Family lived on the same base (Fort Henry Heights -
CFB Kingston) from 18th Oct 1953 until 31st May 1971. I left in mid-'66 to
join the Navy. Am still friends with & see fairly often several who I met
when we moved in. Three of us also made our 1st Communion together and from
time to time see a couple of the guys who were in that group too. Am still
friends etc with several who moved in just a couple of years after us. Many
lived there for over 12y. Most of us (who still hang together) 16+ years.
Some came & went two or three times, remaining on the last in-muster until
fathers were de-mobbed. For the first 15+ years of his life, our Q was the
only home my youngest brother had ever lived in - born Jan 1956. It was the
only home 3 younger sisters ever remembered, although they were each born in
NS. Only the next eldest brother & myself recall living anywhere else (off
base in NS where we too were born).

Super memories of living at FHH and most of the other Brats who were also
there. [Another big reunion coming up, on the first long week-end in August
   2007!!]
