       Yes so, in my case.
I was never in any one place for more than 3 years except in the early
   years before I was aware.
Our family's first move to PMQ's lasted one year.
We then moved to a different base...we arrived to the same house!
That lasted for one year and we moved again to another base. We stayed
   there for one year.
We then moved what some would consider - across town. We were there for
   three years.
The next base we were at was for three years.
The next base we were at was for one year.
My Dad retired after that and we moved again. My parents rented a house
and then bought one and we moved again.
In high school on civy street as a teenager I found it tough because
everyone there had lived in the same place for years and had a HISTORY.
Cliques, if you wish. All my high school friends turned out to be newbie's
   to the area.
I bought a house in 72 and haven't moved since.
The results of my moving? I sure know how to meet new people.....
I have many good memories but no one to share them with except by email
and that is not the same as 'being there'.
In recent years I have found out that I have a burn to grow vegetables.
The question is would I or could I have identified this 'burn' earlier on if
I hadn't been moving so much?
The answer is yes, no and maybe...............!!! And right now who
   really gives a damn.
