From: dancetimedj@hotmail.com              Like Gary, I think we moved every 2 or 3 years while I was a brat.              But, we would live in places outside of PMQs, except in Halifax, and even       then, the few *brats* that lived around me, were barely friends. We went to       different schools, and never really thought of ourselves as related to the       military in any way.              When I joined the Navy, it was the beginning of the longest home residency.       I went away alot, but my family stayed home, got to stay in the same       schools, keep the same friends, etc. We had brief moves while we lived in       PMQs once, while looking for our first home, and then the first home was 8       years, and the remainder was in my second home, all in the Halifax Regional       Municipality now.              All my *fond* memories, were in Germany, where I was old enough to remember       friends, and all my friends (except a few German buddies) were Brats. I       don't have any other *fond* brat memories, unless you count that time Dora       sent me a picture posed naked in front of her motorbike. That still brings       back fond memories. Even after blowing it up to a wall-sized poster, I still       can't see the motorbike serial number.                      -= Rasta =- ( AKA Tom )               Dancetime DJ Services - (902) 471-2497        Weddings - Private Parties - Banquets - Karaoke        http://www.geocities.com/dancetimedjservices/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
