       Yes, two more weeks should tell the tale. I went down to the river a few   
   days ago and the water was higher than I have ever seen - I moved here in   
   1973.   
       I went down yesterday and the water level had gone down four feet or so   
   and on the walkway there was mud three inches thick. It had been one foot   
   under the water the first time I went there. I was surprised to see the   
   mud...   
       So things look good so far. All the various governments, I think, have   
   come to bat this time. Some could say that much money was wasted on this and   
   I say "There is nothing wrong with preventative maintenance."
