Indeed it is to do with family history, though not my       own. It was a query to the NS Rootsweb board. Found on a gravestone as: <       Bombadier RCCA CEF > under his name. When non-military types tried to       answer, I thought I'd ask here. I will ask if the one 'C' could possibly be       a 'G'.
