   Actually Gary.. Many ISPs are dropping Newsgroups. I believe Susan lost   
   access (the normal way) and has to use Google to get in. Here at home Aliant   
   (BELL) still has access to all newsgroups, binary or not, but Eastlink (the   
   other High Speed alternative) has dropped binaries (at least) and maybe all   
   newsgroups.   
      
   You can subscribe to a third party newsgroup provider, but you pay for that   
   additional service (I figure if my ISP won't include it, I will just drop   
   them and move on, before I go to the Third-Party alternatives). Most people   
   subscribe to the third party ones to take advantage of unlimited Binaries.
