   When discussing the Clintons and Russia, there are several "truths" and   
   complex business/diplomatic deals that have fueled rumors for years.   
      
   The "Uranium One" Deal   
      
   The most common rumor is that Hillary Clinton "gave" 20% of U.S. uranium to   
   Russia in exchange for donations.   
      
   The Partial Truth: A Canadian company called Uranium One, which had mining   
   stakes in the U.S., WAS INDEED SOLD to the Russian state-owned company Rosatom   
   in 2010. During this time, the CLINTON FOUNDATION RECEIVED APPROXIMATELY $145   
   MILLION IN DONATIONS FROM PEOPLE CONNECTED TO URANIUM ONE.   
      
   Hillary Clinton was one of nine cabinet members on the Committee on Foreign   
   Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS) that had to approve the deal.   
      
   This is more provable than ANYTHING you THINK you have on Trump. Phone

   paid $500,000 for a single speech in Moscow. The fee was paid by Renaissance   
   Capital, a Russian investment bank with ties to the Kremlin that was actively   
   promoting Uranium One stock at the time.   
      
   The Context: This payment was legal and disclosed, but it is often cited as a   
   "partial truth" regarding the Clintons benefiting financially from Russian   
   interests while in a position of power.

   being used by the Russian government to acquire 'dual-use" technology (tech   
   that has both civilian and military applications, like jet engine or satellite

   Critics argue that Hillary Clinton's "Reset" policy essentially helped Russia   
   modernize its military technology, even after intelligence agencies warned of   
   the risks.

   The "Russian Reset" was the official 2009 policy of the Obama administration,   
   led by Hillary Clinton, to "restart" relations after they had soured under the   
   previous administration.   
      
   The Intent: The goal was to find common ground on specific issues: nuclear   
   arms reduction, stabilizing Afghanistan, and curbing Iran's nuclear program.   
      
   The Symbolic Blunder: In their first meeting, Hillary gave Russian Foreign   
   Minister Sergey Lavrov a literal red button. However, the State Department   
   mistranslated the Russian word for "Reset" (perezagruzka) as peregruzka-which   
   actually means "Overload."   
      
   Initial Successes: The policy did lead to the New START Treaty (reducing   
   nuclear warheads) and Russia allowing U.S. troops to fly over Russian   
   territory to reach Afghanistan.   
      
   The Failure: The "Reset" collapsed when Vladimir Putin returned to the   
   presidency in 2012. He accused Hillary Clinton of personally instigating anti-   
   government protests in Russia. Tensions then reached a breaking point with the   
   Russian annexation of Crimea in 2014, making the "Reset" a symbol of failed   
   diplomacy.

   All you need to know about "Trump Derangement Syndrome," or TDS.   
      
   "Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is a mental condition in which a person has   
   been driven effectively insane due to their dislike of Donald Trump, to the   
   point at which they will abandon all logic and reason."   
      
   Justin Raimondo, the editorial director of Antiwar.com, wrote a piece in the   
   Los Angeles Times in 2016 that broke TDS down into three distinct phases or   
   stages:   
      
   "In the first stage of the disease, victims lose all sense of proportion. The   
   president-elect's every tweet provokes a firestorm, as if 140 characters were   
   all it took to change the world."   
      
   "The mid-level stages of TDS have a profound effect on the victim's   
   vocabulary: Sufferers speak a distinctive language consisting solely of   
   hyperbole."   
      
   "As TDS progresses, the afflicted lose the ability to distinguish fantasy from   
   reality."   
      
   The Point here is simple: TDS is, in the eyes of its adherents, the knee-jerk   
   opposition from liberals to anything and everything Trump does. If Trump   
   announced he was donating every dollar he's ever made, TDS sufferers would   
   suggest he was up to something nefarious, according to the logic of TDS.   
   There's nothing - not. one. thing. - that Trump could do or say that would be   
   received positively by TDSers.   
      
   The history of Trump Derangement Syndrome actually goes back to the early   
   2000s - a time when the idea of Trump as president was a punch line for late-   
   night comics and nothing more.   
      
   Wikipedia traces its roots to "Bush Derangement Syndrome" - a term first   
   coined by the late conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer back in 2003.   
   The condition, as Krauthammer defined it, was "the acute onset of paranoia in   
   otherwise normal people in reaction to the policies, the presidency - nay -   
   the very existence of George W. Bush."
