   # It has been many years since I last fired an M16, but the process is
   # about the same. The bolt locks open when the last round is fired out of
   # a clip. One button to drop the magazine out, slap another one in, and
   # push another button to release the bolt, which chambers the next round
   # and cocks the weapon.

   # It would seem that most of our liberal brethren on this forum have no
   # idea how a weapon actually works.

Quite true. The libtards operate on emotion only.
And IMHO, a handgun magazine is easier to swap than a rifle.

Also if a Sandy Hook type of incident is considered, the perp could have
just blocked the door while taking a minute to swap magazines.
