You just dug one for yourself.

I'm not talking about a few hayseeds, I'm talking about the same sort
of cart blanche freedom that gun owners have.

Are you seriously telling me that all citizens in the US are allowed
to have garages and homes full of bombs?

   If not, why not?

   See below:

   > > Why should they be penalised because of the actions of criminals?

   > Why should they?

So you have no objection if every home in the US was packed with bombs
   and bomb making equipment?

You don't foresee any problems with that?

   Interesting, but stupid!

Mind you, you also don't foresee a problem with homes being packed
with guns, even though more Americans have been shot to death by
fellow Americans then by all their enemies. Over a million since John
   Lennon was gunned down.

Yep! Those guns sure are making things safer, Jethro. LOL

   > > Whoops!! That sounds exactly like the pro-gun argument, doesn't it?

   > Yep, and you're not showing where there is any error in the reasoning.

I believe the opposite to be the case.
