XPost: talk.politics.misc, us.military, us.military.navy       XPost: aus.politics.guns, uk.politics.guns       From: Voter@Vote2016.com              The impetus for the war on guns should not be massacres, but hoodlums who rob       and       escalate insults with gunfire.              If you read my other post, massacres are a red herring. And yet without legal       guns, hoodlums have all the more power entirely. You can't walk down a dark       alley       in New York City or go many places in New York City at night, because you can't       bear a gun without incurring liability.              There is no right to bear arms recognized period, by the State of California       period. It is an atrocity. First they said no concealed weapons. Then they       said       no unconcealed loaded weapons, now the current governor has said no unconcealed       unloaded weapons. Only by permission may you bear a gun in the State of       California. Further if you make threats, and have a gun, you are at far       greater       liability than if you make threats and have no gun. Count the people       incarcerated       for making threats and I bet it is greater than the number of people killed in       non       Islamic Terrorist related gun massacres in California in the last 20 years.        The       number I count killed in non Islamic Terrorist related massacres in California       in       the past 20 years is 39. (If you include the one Islamic terror attack, that       number jumps to 53). Correct that number if it's wrong please. But how many       people have been convicted of making threats of massacres in California in the       past twenty years?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
