We pay a lot in fed taxes.       We're over by $billions. Toronto is pissed off because we're broke, but are       a       money machine for this country.              Every damn immigrant who comes to Canada, usually ends up here. In Toronto       first.              When you run out of money elsewhere, you don't immediately move to Alberta,       you go       to Toronto. And our welfare system carries the load.              Do you really think that the street people in Toronto are from here?              Geese, at least Quebec says "you need to learn French" to move there.              It all starts in Toronto. Then some of them move to BC and Alberta, maybe       Sask or       Manitoba.              Maybe that guy is right. Toronto should be it's own province.                     There us a reason why Toronto's budget is bigger than 8 Canadian provinces.                     Most of the immigration is good. But as I said, we pay more to the Feds than       we       get back.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
