   Actually, you don't have to renounce your citizenship.  Canadian   
   taxes are based on residency, not citizenship.  I know Americans   
   living here in Canada that pay only Canadian income tax.  You are   
   correct about the fact that you do have to leave the country.

   Nope, I worked there for years and they have taxes.  At least they do
