   And they still can't compete even though imports also have duties applied.   
      
   So much BS goes on on why manufacturing in Canada does not work, none   
   even come close to addressing the issues as no one wants to see the truth.   
      
   Take currency exchange. Say your product is 25% labour and 75 raw   
   materials. Would you rather pay $ US/CAD for a unit of copper, or pay   
   $1.30 CAD for the same unit of copper?
