   So why not let the people do the same and vote on the federal budget   
   directly? They will not as most people in this country would want a lot   
   of pork and corruption slashed right out. It is also why we don't have   
   an elected senate.   
      
   It is why Alberta and other provinces would be best off to leave   
   confederation.
