   Pretty much every government we have set on our ballot is this way.  It   
   is why we need a new party that has the specific mandate to reduce taxes   
   and reduce government spending to fit.

   Agreed.  If Ed Stelmach tried that their would be eggs and rocks a   
   flying.  And as it is he is in trouble.

   And think of the populations wealth loss.  Albertians have a 5-8% raise

   15% HST is 4500. (BC Ontario)   
   5% GST is $1500 (Alberta)   
      
   Might want to think about what you could buy with $3000.  Or maybe add   
   it to the TFSA or mortgage reduction.   
      
   Then think 30-40 years of working... with income tax being similar....   
      
   Adds up to a lot of lost wealth to fat government.
