   That is the conclusion I reached after many years of study and   
   observation. A lot of "financial" decisions at the highest levels of   
   government and banking appear to make no sense from a classical   
   "accounting" viewpoint, but they make perfect sense from a "money is   
   merely a means of exercising power and control" viewpoint. next time you   
   read something about government and the economy that doesn't make sense,   
   try looking at it from the viewpoint I describe. See if it doesn't all   
   fall into place.   
      
   And yes, I have studied economics and got very good grades. I don't like   
   to brag, so I'll leave it there.
