   Nope, haven't had any debts since 1991.  Once you finish paying off your   
   home, you get to pay yourself to live there and become rich.  Not worth   
   $750K, but well over $500K.  Yep, I live in it for property taxes and   
   utilities and the occasional maintenance.  It appreciates faster than my   
   cost so I saved a lot and invested it.  I even still have a positive   
   cash flow without working.  So when an involuntary unemployment came   
   (RIF), I took my tax mans advice, why do you work?  Finally said being a   
   Ottawa charity case wasn't worth it.
