|    Why businesses are hoarding money    |
|    09 Aug 11 13:38:42    |
From: Canuck57@nospam.com              No question good businesses are hoarding money, not investing much,       laying off the people they don't need and generate little tax generating       activity.              With interest rates so low, it also lower the earnings bar. And with a       low earnings bar, stagnant environment and high tax threat risks, they       do the safe thing and stay in cash.              Many companies are seeing inflationary pressures on the supply side, yet       the market is resisting price increases, squeezing profits. Less       profits means less taxes and revenue. To weather this, keep cash.              Fact is QE and zero rates are fueling the problem, and not eliminating       it. 4 years of Bernanke Doctrine and no results should say it all. But       statism government doesn't get it. I do, Bernanke policy is an abysmal       failure.              I must share this opinion, as minutes after Bernanke made todays       announcement, the market took a rapid 400 point swing to the negative.       Clearly these idiots are out of touch.              It is clear if government wants more revenue from an active economy, the       ponzi fraud policies need to end. Money print fraud needs to end,       interest rates need to rise to fair rates to provide stability and an       environment worth investing in.              But statism is myopic, and I don't expect the needed changes will occur.        It is as if the government/banks are at war with peoples incomes,       trying to inflate their way out of debt.money!!!! Yep, the markets are       aware of this fraud.              --       Seems like paying your bills with real money is no longer the accepted       behavior in USA. Perhaps that is the problem and not the the solution.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
