Do American judges do better for being       > elected?              Perhaps not. But then if elected they can be replaced. How many judges       get the axe for incompetency in Canada? Heck, there should be a GE like       quota system.              Like politicians, once on too long they all begin to stink so change       often! Unless of course you find a good one.              Judges like any other profession have their bad ones, so cite how the       bad ones are removed? Short of ticking off a politician, I have never       herd of one getting the boot off the bench. And I really doubt they are       that pure. Maybe purely corrupted.       --       Seems like paying your bills with real money is no longer the accepted       behavior in USA. Perhaps that is the problem and not the the solution.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
