But a       bottom seems to have formed in our area as I am looking to sell in 2013.       Might delay it if it gets soft as with Canadian labour and material       costs, can't build them cheaper.              USA is toast. A desperate bankrupt nation. Civic, state, fed doesn't       mater. Someone tried to get me to go south to buy in Arizon or Vegas, I       said no. An acquaintance on the return said no wonder their cheap,       civic, county and state taxes/special assessments adds up like rent.              Was going to buy a Okanagan property last fall but came to my senses.       Was offered in the $260K range but once advertised for $600k....then       they tried to jerk me around and upped the price so I walked. I can do       better in Panama or Costa Rica.              So we flew down there and loved it. Planning on moving in 2013. Canada       doesn't need our taxes. Being expat will lower my taxes as I have US       and Canadian income streams. No need to declare my US income to Canada       if I am an expat.              BC turn offs were big when I had the accountant do a 2010 BC income tax       and forget it. BC is stupid tax crazy. HST, transfer fees nuts. No       sense in jumping out of the fry pan into the fire.                     --       Liberal-socialism is a great idea so long as the credit is good and       other people pay for it. When the credit runs out and those that pay       for it leave, they can all share having nothing but debt and discontentment.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
