Did hell just       freeze over? Bet it quietly gets dismissed later on. Didn't know the       RCMP had any honest top cops that could do this.              > “CRA employees are in a position of public trust and we demand professional       and ethical conduct. This is why our government has increased our budget for       internal investigations by 127 per cent and we have nearly doubled the number       of internal        investigators,” she said.              CRA and trust don't belong in the same sentence.              > In recent search warrants, the RCMP has alleged that other CRA officials       helped firms in Quebec’s construction industry evade taxes. The RCMP has also       alleged in search warrants that CRA officials received gifts or compensation       from a construction firm,        including free home renovations, trips to Las Vegas and the Bahamas, and an       upscale evening at a Montreal Canadiens home game.              Just government and mafia working together to screw Canadians out of       their wealth. No surprise mafia and government work together as the       only real difference between the two is legitimacy of perception.              They both operate the same racketeering, taxation, collections,       enforcers, education programs, have a hierarchy of control, elect       leaders, health plans, negotiate with others for steeling other peoples       money, have judges, police and politicians, as well as policy to manage       the people for their profit. Both reward corrupt and create new ways to       bilk people out of their money.              Mafia even was above board at one time, offering protection like the       government offers.              Again, the only difference is the perception of legitimacy.              --       Liberal-socialism is a great idea so long as the credit is good and       other people pay for it. When the credit runs out and those that pay       for it leave, they can all share having nothing but debt and discontentment.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
