   I do income tax for German people and after paying tax on 50 % of their   
   income  Germany asked for more.  They had German financiers prepare the tax   
   return  ( very expensive ) and had to pay 2000 to 3000 dollars extra  which   
   they did.   
   One year later Revenue Canada returned the extra payment to them because of   
   double taxation.
