XPost: on.politics, ab.politics, bc.politics       From: Canuck57@nospam.com              If you include all forms of taxation, working people making more than       poverty wages will be paying over 50% of their income to one government       or another. Some examples.              Earn $100, pay $40 to income/employment taxes, $10 for property taxes,       $23 in carbon taxes for $27 of gasoline to go to work to pay more taxes.       Governemtn benefits $73 and you get $27.              Earn $20, $8 for income/employment taxes, $2 for property taxes, to get       $10 of cheese that has up to 283% tarrifs or protectionism...and why the       same cheese is $4.25 in the USA and $10 here. You earn $20,       government/protectionism gets $15.75 and you get $4.25 in product.              Earn $20, $8 for income/employment taxes, $2 for property taxes, to get       $10 of ground beef that has up to 234% tariffs or protectionism...and       why the ground beef in the USA is less than 1/2 price.       Government/protectionism gets $15 and you get $5.              Earn $400, $160 in income/employment taxes, $40 to property/utility tax,       $200 to the dentist tooth cleaning, of which at least 1/2 goes to       income/employment/property/utility/license/other taxes, fees, et al. So       for $400 of labour you get $100 of dental services tax out. Governments       get $300.              In the above examples I account for total taxation on       income/property/spend including over $40 billion of hidden taxes people       don't see, GST extra and the inflation it causes. It is the total       income/spend cycle and includes taxation as inflation.              Taxation as inflation is why Canada is so darned expensive to live in.       Its why wage demands are pushed well into non-competative space and       people lose manufacturing jobs. Isn't that they don't get paid enough,       its that its too expensive to live in a tax-inflated economy of debt fraud.              But hey, we don't manage government, government manages us and we are       well conditioned not to question the most expensive item in our lives,       government.              And we wonder why we have poor economics, can't compete, job losses.       And with government depreciation to you for debt ponzi fruad, enjoy 2014       - the year of inflation and Canada does poorly again.              Now pay your taxes.       --       Socialist-statism corruption is a great idea so long as the credit is       good and other people pay for it. When the credit runs out and those       that pay for it leave, they can all share having nothing but       unemployment, debt and discontentment.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
