   Yeah, that's the image isn't it?  A big preditory, pervert male putting on   
   a dress to harrass the poor little ladies. Scary.  Doesn't match the   
   reality.  All humans start as female, then hormones in the womb make about   
   half into male. Hormones make the difference after birth too.  Back in the   
   70's there was some research into "internal body image" - mostly as related   
   to fat/skinny.  For trans people, "that internal body image" doesn't match   
   the phenotype they were born with.  A trans woman is emotionally and   
   mentally a woman.  A trans man is emotionally and mentally a man.
