Yeah, suprised the heck out of the beagles to the rescue folks.  They asked
some of their more 'solid' previous customers with rescue pooches if we could
help over thanksgiving to provide temp homes for the 'unadoptable' set so
that one of the foster mom's could at last make a family thanksgiving trip
back to the west coast.

We selected Aunti Mabel Anne, who was recovering from heartworm treatment,
has arthritis and is deaf.  We were set to keep her in the back 2 rooms gated
off from Cash and separate yard times incase they didn't get along, but they
hit it off right away and Daisy-chan likes her too.  We got her 2-3 days
before Thanksgiving and when it came time to give her up, we asked to adopt
her instead.  We had her housebroken and everything by then (grin).

We usually gate her in the back 2 rooms at night because if she can't see her
puppy pad, she isn't totally reliable at night (she is during the day). 
Accident's are rare even when left out loose at night in the house.

So, Cash has his big memory foam and blankie and she has a smaller one suited
to her size with her own blankie.  I know she won't last long at her age, but
she'll have good times for all the remainder.
