Tigger and Felix fight constantly and they are not related at all and there's
enough of an age difference between them (at least five years) to where they
shouldn't be doing this, but at least once a day they go at it.  We laugh
about it because it's a knock-out, drag-out fight that results in the
world-famous "kitty train" (both cats running through the house at full speed
chasing each other) derailing itself after about ten minutes. :)

I think it's natural and as it was said, it's probably a "pecking order". 
With our cats, Felix is physically larger than Tigger, but Tigger still rules
the roost.
