> He reminded You of Hooch on turner and hooch.
JK> Aw how neat.. :)
Actually it is terrible... 8) You would not believe how some of those big
dogs with the loose jowels can slobber. Vader, Yeah a big black heavy
breathing product of the 80's, hence the name. Was so funny. I hated the
drooling, but could not help but love the dog. If You really wanted to get a
laugh, he'd go over to his big stainless steel bowl on a hot summer day Stick
his whole face in it and guzzle. Well this presents a problem, Now you have a
furry faced dog with a head bigger than Yours with a wet muzzle. If You
weren't paying attention that he had gotten a cold drink. He'd like walk up
and stick his face right in your lap as you sat there. Soaker!! 8-) He'd be
just standing there with his face there, big brown eyes looking at you like
"boy do I love You" In reality he was using your lap as a Napkin. Heheheh.
But that was not the general drooling, just a funny fact. I don't know how
many people who loved dogs, just had to meet him because he was like a big
black bear, I would warn them, but that did not matter, then they would walk
away mumbling #$%^&*()_ as they go to find something to wipe the slime from
their clothes They met him alright! and he was just being friendly ;-)

JK> Oh man.. no we didn't get that tale over here.. how sick is that.. :(
JK> :( You figure the guy had to be in there a while.. geez!
Sad.. I dunno, I don't want him to loose his job either, but He just had to
know! But if I recall, it was like 45 minutes after he picked them up or
maybe a bit longer. I don't think he was in Mickey D's too long, but he knew
the AC was not working in the van, He should have taken the dogs straight to
the pound, not ride around and stop for a drink. It was just too hot. If You
remember that one spell where it was about as hot and humid as it got this
summer? That was when it happened. Oddly most are blaming the owner for
letting the dogs out in the first place, where they dug under the fence. They
say she should not have let them out in the heat. I still think as sad as
that is. The officer should have known better.
JK> That is the worst of it.. I'm sure she's really having a rough time
JK> with the way they died.. I would have.. I mean it's so hard even when
It is sad to see, On the news You see her holding her last baby ( she had 3 )
and she is older and she is very distraught, and claims the last pug is too.
In a way I believe that, being pack animals. They miss those that are gone. I
once was going to adopt a pug who lived with an old man and it's Father. The
Father died and the woman who owned the dog, says that after the Father died,
the Dog was acting depressed. He was a sweet smart little thing, but You could
see it was kind of acting in a disconected manner. I told the woman, the
worse thing she could do was to adopt out this dog now, as the dog did take a
shine to this womans' little 6 yr old daughter. If the dog lost the little
now too, who knows how it would react? The dog was a bit depressed from
losing it's only family it knew for 5 years, and to loose another person who
he just got to know would probably not do to well for him. They do seem to
know.
JK> you see your pal have to go to sleep the peaceful way.. nevermind
JK> suffering terribly. damn, can't stand it.
Amen.. Stupidity in it's purest form. I may be sensitive to dogs in heat
though. I never have, but so many times I see these dogs locked up in these
heated cars in the middle of the summer. I hear em barking and crying, I get
so dang mad. I have never called, but have come close, I usually will stay
for a bit and see if the owner comes out in a reasonable time. They usually
do, but it is still damn hot in that car.
Have a good One!
Mike
