It's a rough one Mike..

The kitty may be fine.. or may be racked with kitty disease.  A trip to the
vet is definitely in order before introducing this kitty to to the rest of her
kitties, but she probably knows that..  feline leukemia, rabies,
leptospirosis, worms, and more are all things you have to worry about with
feral kitties.  Luckily the 4 feral guys we took in had been checked
thoroughly by the humane society's vet before we even met them..  We did have
to complete all their vaccines once we got them home since they were so young
when we got them.

It will be a bit strange for her Other kitties no doubt.. but who knows if
they will get along.  Over here, my 4 keep changing their mind about who they
will be "friends with" ..it's really funny.  First they all just played
together and got a long GREAT!.. Then, as I think I mentioned here, after the
first year or so, everyone decided to HATE Lizzy.. there was a another feral
kitty on the block, bigger and nasitier than Lizzy, but with the same colors
and markings (really funny to see this other cat out there :))  and for some
reason, Lizzie's sisters and brother somehow took her to be this creepy cat..
After about a year of that, they stopped.

NOW, Everyone, including Lizzie is not getting along with Lola :) :)  But
actually I should say Lola is the one not getting along with anyone hahaha.
She fisses at EVERYONE even the dogs when they walk in the room hahaha.. so we
don't know what the heck is going on with any of them, or why Lola is so mean
when she sees anyone haha..

I guess my point here is, I don't know if you friend will ever ever know if
there's going to be a problem til she tries it.
