coyotes :) They've been seen in the area so I'm pretty sure it's coyotes
doing the howling.. I see in Scientific American though that an interbreeding
of coyotes and wolves has made it up the east coast. Who knows really which
we've got now (coywolves? ).

heheh yeah.. me too.. now to get them to use the darn catboxes Lol.. They
mostly do.. this week I put up a gate at the laundry room doorway to keep the
dogs out but let the kitties in to do their business in peace .
Leo is back to his old self.. laying about the house.. he's great since he
just ignores the dogs pretty much. I was worried at first that he might bolt
again just to get away from them - but he just lays there and if the pups
hassle him, he gives them a swat ;) Indy barks at Leo when Leo does this
(like oh c'mon, let's play) .. Sophie runs Lol. My Black lab, Toby never
hassles him.. he's more likely to just flop down alongside Leo.. :)
Take care,
Janis
