I thought I would post this for a couple of reasons. Moderators have been kind
enough to let us talk about all pets, and I would like to have this in the
archive to remember. With power out it is a good idea. And over the last few
years we have had power out more than I'd like. Plus somebody else could find
it helpful.

NE'rs who have fish tanks~learned this neat hint several years ago from the
pet store: if your electric goes out, put hydrogen peroxide in the tank to
re-oxygenate the tank. It was recommnended that I use ~1/4 tsp. for my 10 gal.
every 8 hours. It works!
