Hi Mike,

>> And.. btw, I think fishies are quite on-topic here.. they are a favorite of
>> Cats afterall Lol

> LOL, and there is Nothing like watching a cat fish by the fish bowl..

No kidding.. terrible though :) My grandmother had a tank of fish, and her cat
used to just sit and wait patiently for err... victims to come close enough to
the surface .. :) We never had fish in bowls, or tanks when I was growing
up.. think Mom had seen enough at her house - I just get that sense Lol

>> I made hot spicy mussels the day before yesterday, and interestingly enough
>> it was the DOGS that wanted them though :)

> That something special about dogs, they will be glad to try just about
>anything. If a dog doesn't like it, You might think about eating it yourself :

haha well, yes but then again I've seen some of the er crap my dogs eat LOL

LOL! Just like kids!!!

> He just hated carrots and even when grabbing mouthfuls of food, he woul

> there was another food he did not like.

That is so funny. I can just picture that newfie.. :) Thanks for the great
story. :)

> Did the dogs get any mussels?

Nope, but they sure tried.. you know, standing guard over the immediate circle
around my feet.. just in case I dropped one :)

> My Parrot is the interesting one. He loves everything in spurts. The vet said
>when I first got him. He is an avian vet. I will tell you this, he is going to
>outlive you and you can spend all kinds of rediculous money on Parrot food and
> special parrot kibble etc. I am telling You, Feed him off of the table. No
>commercial parrot food. It will save you a lot of money and he will eat better
>So that is what I did. He eats just about anything, but oddly his favorites ar
> chicken wings, scrambled eggs, egg salad, meatloaf and ohh his all time
> favorite is Hot dogs.

WOW!!!! that is incredible :) :)

> You would not think that would be good for him but the
>vet says it is perfect as he eats fruits and veggies too, but prefers the meat

Darn.. I had no idea.. I just might get one! Oh wait.. all I have in the
house are Bird dogs and cats Lol.. don't think the parrot and the labs will
mix at least :)

Send me a link to a pic of your bird when you get a chance, I'd love to see it
:)

Janis
