|  A funny thing (dogs)  |

It's been a little quiet in here and I thought I would post something. My ability to post runs in streaks. For only Cat fans, this pertains to my dogs though. Being winter up here in NY, drying of skin and lips is common. Well lips being a bit chapped, I decided to grab one of those supermaket specials as You are checking out, I grabbed a small tube of Carmex for 99cents and last night before going to bed, I put some of this cherry flavored Carmex on my lips. Right after I put it on, the circus started. My two pugs started jumping up on the bed and going right for the smell of that cherry carmex. It was crazy. It was like I had rubbed a prime rib with bacon all over my lips. It was actually bizarre, I could not keep them away. Ducked under the pillow and they still tried to attack me. For some reason they just love whatever the fragrance is in that stuff. Who would have thought. It was like having two pugs glued to my face unless I hid. When I got up, Lo-Ci went right at me again. It was funny I will have to admit, but I have never seen them so wild for anything, even food. When they were attacking me, Jumping back and forth over my head trying to get at me. I was laughing more like I was being tickled than being attacked. 8) Does anyone else have animals that are attracted to certain smells? Had a Siamese once, who as soon as You brought out a piece of Ham. You were taking Your life in your hands. Another one as a kid, loved turkey. Not nice to say, but my father would literally throw the cat down cellar when it was thanksgiving. And by the time he shut the door, the cat was already up the stairs and in the kitchen sniffin out the Bird |
