Yeah, something in the fragrance really drove them crazy. Maybe it was the
sweet smell.

Well, I can tell You this, My dog Simon, can pick out a dog on every
commercial on tv that has one. Even if there is no barking or anything,
when one shows up on screen, and Your not going to believe this, but even
fake ones ( like the one on the current Chevy commercials, he looks like a
plastic dog, but Simon must think cuz it is moving on all fours, it is a
real dog ) He drives me crazy, he runs over and barks and then runs behind
the tv barking. I think he thinks it is a window. I can't watch anything
with dogs in it. One of my favorite, new, off the wall shows is Yukon men,
about people living up in alaska. Of course they have sled dogs on there
every week. Do You think I can hear it over all the barking? No way!! No pun
intended, but another show he goes crazy over is Dog, the Bounty hunter. 8)
Seriously! as they go hunting the bail jumpers, there is always dogs and
dogs barking or Dog himself has a couple dogs, so I don't watch that as You
can't hear what is going on...

Dad only had one cat to worry about, I can imagine when a bunch conspire
together. I don't know if I mentioned this a few years back or not. But I
remember one Year My Mother had passed, and Dad was alone, and My sister
had been away for years. We invited them over for Thanksgiving. I was in
charge of the Turkey. Cleared the kitchen of everyone, and Turkey was
resting that 20 minutes or so to make it nice for carving. Went down into
the Family room with everyone else. There is a Thud! Looked up into the
Kitchen and my Newfoundland was chowing down on the turkey. He pulled it
off the counter and was digging in real good. My sister still laughs her
head off every time Turkey day comes around and she remembers how mad I got
when everyone sat around and instead of Turkey with all the trimmings, we
had trimmings without a turkey
