Hi Mike,
>> Well, you know cats and fish .. bringing squid in the house makes my cats
>> crazier than any other type seafood. Last night I made some Haddock for

> That's Interesting. Squid Yes, Fish No... Picky little fuzzballs.
Yeah.. that was my thought .
>> type that's better for them hehe. Maybe that's what your guys liked about
>> the chapstick stuff..
> Yeah, something in the fragrance really drove them crazy. Maybe it was the
> sweet smell.
I keep a plastic container of sugar in a drawer in my kitchen (a big bin type
drawer kind of low to the floor).. everytime I open that container, there are
at least two snouts (sometimes 3) trying to sneak a taste.. it kills me.
>> saw an article recently on one of the news sites about how dogs can
>> identify other dog's faces.. made me wonder if THAT is what they are
>> remembering since there's

LOL wow.. that is definitely a little insane :) :)
>I think he thinks it is a window. I can't watch anything
> with dogs in it.
I keep watching my three to see if they notice the dogs on the screen.. they
don't seem to care unless they hear one barking.. then it's a dash out the dog
door since they're sure it must have come from outside haha
> One of my favorite, new, off the wall shows is Yukon men,

> Seriously! as they go hunting the bail jumpers, there is always dogs and
> dogs barking or Dog himself has a couple dogs, so I don't watch that as You
> can't hear what is going on...
Man, that is crazy.. and I get upset when the three dogs here decide they need
to sit on the couch with us Lol.. You can't just let one dog sit with you,
since then the other two try to jump up.. we might as well sit on the floor if
that should happen haha
>> Now Turkey, both the dogs and cats go nuts over Lol.. As soon as I get
>> it out of the plastic, they all start harassing me.
> Sumthin about Turkey!
Yeah.. seems especially true when I get a free-range one.
>> Yep, same here. And 'Battle' is a good description Lol the cats try to
>> trip you, the dogs work with them too to try to get you to drop the
>> thing. :)
> Dad only had one cat to worry about, I can imagine when a bunch conspire
> together.
One cat is enough sometimes :) When I was growing up we had two.. I had mine
that I found in the basement when the momma had a litter, and my sister had
the momma .. those two cats and our Irish setter got into more trouble and
definitely conspired.. like the time the cats knocked a platter of cupcakes I
made for Latin class to the floor, and Red (the dog) ate every single one.
>I don't know if I mentioned this a few years back or not. But I
> remember one Year My Mother had passed, and Dad was alone, and My sister

> Kitchen and my Newfoundland was chowing down on the turkey. He pulled it
> off the counter and was digging in real good.
WOW :) :) :)
>My sister still laughs her
> head off every time Turkey day comes around and she remembers how mad I got
> when everyone sat around and instead of Turkey with all the trimmings, we
> had trimmings without a turkey
And a very very full dog no doubt :) :)
Take care,
Janis
