Hi Mike, >> I keep a plastic container of sugar in a drawer in my kitchen (a big >> bin type drawer kind of low to the floor).. everytime I open that >> container, there are at least two snouts (sometimes 3) trying to sneak >> a taste.. it kills me. > Wow, I did not know dogs were attracted to sweets. But with what You > say and that Cherry carmex smell, it was just something I overlooked > until now. Who knows, maybe it's just these two nuts (the yellow lab mix pups).. but I know toby (the full breed black lab) has also tried getting his head in there Lol >> I keep watching my three to see if they notice the dogs on the >> screen.. they don't seem to care unless they hear one barking.. then >> it's a dash out the dog door since they're sure it must have come from >> outside haha > Simon is a little nut to begin with. He sees the dogs or anything on > four legs he thinks is a dog and runs right over to the tv and starts Ok, but has he ever tried making friends with a cannister vaccuum?? I had a cocker spaniel years ago who uh.. tried to get real personal with my Electrolux cannister vacuum jumping on top of it LOL.. as you say though, this particular dog WAS nuts :) Thankfully my lab and lab mixes don't do that :) :) > barking. His brother looks at me as if to say, Simons goin bananas > again Dad, whats his problem? Heheheheh ah.. the smarter one Lol >> I get upset when the three dogs here decide >> they need to sit on the couch with us Lol.. You can't just let one dog >> sit with you, since then the other two try to jump up.. we might as >> well sit on the floor if that should happen haha > Oh yeah, they get jealous if they think one is getting special > treatment, and they, aren't. When the couch was full, my newfie when he > knew that I wanted to sit down, would sit there sideways and would turn > and rest his head on the backrest of the couch and look at the wall, as > if to say, If I can't see you, You're not there. Therefore, I don't > realize You want to sit down. :-) Him and I would usually get into an > argument then about who had dibs on the couch. Sometimes he'd look at me > with those big brown eyes, and I would realize he had dibs :-)) Spoiled > brat. Lol.. well, I've learned that all I have to do to make room on the couch is to encourage one of the cats to come up on the couch .. once I do that, the dogs leave fast hahah. Sometimes I hear Indy moaning and whining in the kitchen, I know when that happens that Lola, one of our calico kitties is laying across the doorway, and the silly dog is too scared to walk past her Lol.. >> One cat is enough sometimes :) When I was growing up we had two.. I >> had mine that I found in the basement when the momma had a litter, and >> my sister had the momma .. those two cats and our Irish setter got >> into more trouble and definitely conspired.. like the time the cats >> knocked a platter of cupcakes I made for Latin class to the floor, and >> Red (the dog) ate every single one. > Hahahaha Teamwork!!! True, sometimes cats and dogs work together to get something they want hahaha >> resting that 20 minutes or so to make it nice for carving. Went down into >> the Family room with everyone else. There is a Thud! Looked up into the >> Kitchen and my Newfoundland was chowing down on the turkey. He pulled it >> off the counter and was digging in real good. >> WOW :) :) :) >> My sister still laughs her >> head off every time Turkey day comes around and she remembers how mad I got >> when everyone sat around and instead of Turkey with all the trimmings, we >> had trimmings without a turkey |
