Hi Mike,
>> Well, we had a hope of finding Leo yesterday when I noticed an ad in
>> Ithaca's Craigslist.. the poster was from the same town I live in (the
>> town of Caroline is very large and rural), and she posted a picture of
>> a yellow tabby, male neutered, just like Leo.. The ad was posted in the
>> Lost/Found section so for a moment I was truly hopeful... the ad said
>> this kitty was found under the poster's house meowing non-stop
>> She replied saying her neighbor down the road had claimed their own
>> missing kitty..
> Are You saying the neighbor claimed the cat as hers?
Yep..

I thought about that, really.. the Craisglist poster did post a picture but a
particular mark on Leo's lower lip wasn't visible in the picture. So I'm not
POSITIVE it was him.
>> Well, if it was Leo, at least he's alive and being taken care of.
>> That's something...

I know what you mean there, Mike :(
>It is probably theirs, but... Anyways, I am still sorry to hear,
> not solid word on Leo. 8(
If he's being taken care of, that's better than him starving/freezing
outdoors. Or being snatched by Coyotes... Well, I still check Craigslist
everyday... who knows.
Take care,
Janis
