Last night I was listening on the internet, to a Veterinarian call in / Talk show. I found this rather interesting. They started talking about, and anyone may not find this as interesting as I did, but anyway. They have through long work, testing and study and breeding, come up with a new breed of cat. What makes this cat different, is, it is a Cat. But it has the social tendencies of a dog. Many people like dogs over cats, as they are pack animals and love to be with people all the time and are much more social than cats are for the most part. They said this new breed looks like a cat, but has the social demeanor of a dog. I found that odd but interesting. I never grouped the two together, nor do I think we have to. Each animal having it's own pros and cons. Yet I have heard that many people do not like cats as they do tend to be loners, and only want to be close when it suits them, where as a dog wants to be around humans all the time. They claim the new breed is fascinating. I can see how they can breed in certain traits, but how do You make a more social cat through genetics is pretty odd, but interesting. Have a good One!
