Hello, MIKE. Saturday March 13 2010 at 22:34, you wrote to All: MR> Stirred by the ruckus, Amanda Bjelland went outside to check on Chloe, MR> who led her owner to the pond, where Willow was frantically pawing at MR> the layer of ice above her, unable to escape the freezing water. We've had that happen (although not quite as dramatic) in my own family as a young boy. Cats and dogs are very intelligent and know how to get our attention. I remember when we first brought home Felix, he accidentally wound up in our pantry that we had in our apartment at the time (Felix is intensly curious about /everything/ and anything). Tigger sat in front of the pantry and let out this loud yowl, which we know from experience is his "mouser" yowl (a warning to mice :). He kept yowling and I knew we had no mice, so I got up and walked over to the pantry. Tigger began walking circles around the pantry door as if he'd caught a mouse. Intrigued, I opened up the pantry door and out popped a slightly confused Felix. |
