haha that sounds like a perfect life for a dog

Our black lab is a beautiful guy, perfectly shaped head, but being a runt he
has quite the goofy appearance.. certainly not show quality but he's a
sweetheat. There are times when the yellow lab mix pups get severely
protective (growly and looking like they'd take a bite out of you) but Toby,
our black lab acts like he couldn't care less, wouldn't know how to bite if he
tried. He's a perfect dog for the grandboys who come over :)

These two came from down south, and were rescued from a kill shelter by a
couple who drive down there to save dogs like these. I wish I had the energy
they have to do such things. When I called asking to see one of the pups they
drove to our house in Windsor with the two of them, to let Toby meet the kids
and it was a comical. I was only going to keep one, but couldn't deal with
sending the other one back, they were both so beautiful.

Ah that's sad.

I guess the same is true of Sophie ... she's really funny when it comes
to "playing".. Indi, the male yellow-lab mix, spends his days chasing and
tossing his ball all over the house (he plays by himself, really funny to
watch ), but Sophie acts like life is all business, like someone has to
take protecting the family seriously.. Lol.. she never chases balls or plays
with toys like Indi does, it's funny.

>My boy thinks he's King... the bastard.. ;)

haha :) He probably is the King

Take care,
Janis
