Hi everyone,

Just wondering what's new around your house with your beasts 

As far as pets go, not too much is new around here.  After Toby passed away
last month I have to admit it kind of knocked our socks off for a while. I'm
sure those of you who've lost a pet know what I'm talking about...

Our yellow-lab mix pups are more comfortable I think with Toby not being
around.. he was like their big-daddy when the three of them were outside :)
That's probably because when we got the 2 yellow-lab pups, they were so tiny,
and Toby by then was a full grown 10 year old lab ... I guess dogs don't
lose that respect for elders as they grow up when there's an older dog in the
house :)

I've seen some funny stuff around here with one of our cats and Indy, our male
yellow-lab mix... Lulu, one of our calico cats, keeps acting like she'd like
to snuggle up to Indy the way she used to with Toby.. Indy can't figure out
how to react I think LOL

He looks terrified when that cat tries to rub against him :) Before Toby died,
Toby and Lulu used to cuddle all the time..

Maybe eventually he'll realize she wants to be friends :)
