I've probably mentioned to you that I have a cat at my old job location in
Metairie, LA.  I get to see her each time I visit down there...

The last couple of times I've visited I've noticed that she has lost a
substantial amount of weight. She's now at 6.25lb, down from 10 or so lb.  On
the last visit I decided to take her to the vet I used to use there; took her
in and sure enough, they still had records on her from over 10 years ago. 
Discovered first off that she's now 17 years 10 months old and has thyroid
problems.  They've prescribed some type of "pen" to put the drug inside her
ears - "transdermal."

Do you or anyone else here have any experience with this type of med?

My other cat that lives with me is still fairly young, healthy and smart,
although I think he's a bit puppy-like - - when running around outside he will
come running when I whistle for him.  :-)  You've heard of "transgender,"
well, this one's "trans-species."
