I think it's about like that here in NYS as well, though I'm not sure to be
honest.  I think I remember reading that if there are children involved it is
especially hard to evict tenents in NYS.. (nice of those landloards, geez)...

But I don't know or remember anything about pets that owned by a tenant when
the ownership changed hands ...

I can imagine :)  Before we sold our house in Windsor NY some folks said why
don't you rent it??  We couldn't, as we're just not landlord types haha
