I would set up a savings account and deposit the $50 a month in it. Most kitties I have had did not have health problems till they were 7 years old or more. On that average $50 a month is $600 a year in 7 years time with interest that would be more than $4200 which is quite a bit and will go quite a long way since Vetrinary procedures are a fraction of what they cost for humans. I've even had kitties that lived 13-14 years before any health problems. Seriously IF you get it don't depend on the reimbursement there will always be some fine print or a "gotcha" clause. Plus a $100 occurance deductable is very high considering the cost of vetrinary care vs human care.
