Oh yeah, very true.. we see it here often. We have two dogs from the same
litter, Sophie, the female is the obvious alpha. Indy, the male, gets the
severe stink-eye (sometimes accompanied with "snarly curly lip") from Sophie
every time he -thinks- to go near her food dish.
She is so much smaller than him, it is comical :) but he runs when she does
that :) :) He looks like a yellow lab pretty much, she looks like ... hmm...
I dunno! Maybe the face/head of a daschound, but taller... got me. Our vet
pronounced them 'true american mutts' when we took them in for shots, etc.
Meanwhile the rescue center we purchased them from called them "yellow lab mix
pups" haha in their dreams maybe :)
